RE: SAVF to folder

Dave,

Have you considered using FTP to write the savefile to the IFS? Obviously you 
could use
FTP to retrieve the savefile directly to the PC but I'm guessing you prefer to 
deposit
the file in the IFS for access from multiple PC's.

Here's a simple example...

FTP RMTSYS(LOCALHOST)
bin                                                                       
quote site namefmt 1                                                      
put rooney/mrsavefile   /home/rooneym/mrsavefile.savf                      
quit

How (if I can) can I copy a save file on the iSeries to a folder in the IFS 
that I can then copy to my p/c or network via a mapped drive? I can not figure 
out the command to do the copy.
