You could try opening a ftp session to itself.
or
CPY OBJ('/qsys.lib/rob.lib/rob.file') TOOBJ('/rob/xyz.savf')
Object copied.
Or skip your IFS and use
CPY OBJ('/qsys.lib/rob.lib/rob.file') TOOBJ('/QNTC/mypc/mydir/xyz.savf')
to copy to the remote PC's directly.
What's the point of storing save files on your PC's anyway?

How (if I can) can I copy a save file on the iSeries to a folder in the IFS
that I can then copy to my p/c or network via a mapped drive? I can not
figure out the command to do the copy.
