What does the continual renaming of product lines say about IBM's marketing approach? Other companies are trying to build brand recognition, but IBM is destroying it. From the S/xx series to the AS/400, to the iSeries; from RS/6000 to pSeries; from S/360/370/390 to zSeries. I think the only unification may have come to the PC product line, but what does xSeries say? It is a test series or the unknown factor?
