James, you are correct.  I changed both the CL & RPG programs to use 15,5
definitions, and both the submitted and directly called RPG programs worked
fine.  To test even further, I changed the definitions in the CL back to 2,0
& 4,0 and, this time, the submitted program worked fine, but the directly
called program DDE'd.

How long have I been on this system?
