Best way to track this stuff is with the security audit journal. There's a manual that comes with every machine called Tips and Techniques for Securing your AS/400 (or iSeries). It'll tell you what you need to do. The Backup & Recovery manual, IIRC, has info about the journal entries you want to know about.
