We are having a problem with our Win2k PC's and drive mappings to our AS/400 (V5R2). Apparently if a user has some drives mapped specifying "reconnect at logon" and then change their Windows Network password to something different than the AS/400 password, their system "LOCKS" up the next time they reboot when the PC tries to mount the AS/400 mapped drives.. The HELP desk personnel have been going around to these PC's, disconnecting the network cable, booting the system, unmapping the drives, reconnecting the network cable and then rebooting the PC again, having the user log into the AS/400, change their password and then re-map the drives! What a bunch of work! Has anyone else had this experience? I would have expected Win2k PC to just present a dialog box asking for the correct password if the PC and AS/400 password weren't synchronized. I can't believe that it locks up instead! Is there some Win2k configuration change I can make to get around this issue? Kenneth **************************************** Kenneth E.
