Reeve:

Have you tried running this statement in iSeries Navigators "Run SQL scripts".
There is an option to run and Explain that may give you the details you are
looking for.

Is there any way to see the "created" SQL statement for
something like this:

C+ Declare Input cursor for select

                        C+ fhpro,

                        C+ fhonm

                        C+ fhfamt +
fhjamt as qnetfee,

                        C+ fhsua3

                        C+ from frp001

                        C+ Order by

                        C+ case

                        C+ when :qrfld = 'QQQ104' then fhpro

                        C+ when :qrfld = 'QQQ105' then fhonm

                        C+ when :qrfld = 'QQQ111' then fhsua3

                        C+ else null

                        C+ end,

Looking at the generated SQL code (with the SQL
includes, SQLCA, etc.)
                        doesn't tell me much.

I have a reason for wanting to do this; it has
something to do with
                        debugging.I think.

                        Thanks,
