Start client access properties, click on the 'Other' tab, change the 'Release license after: 10 Minutes" to 0 minutes. Unfortunately, you have to do this on every pc. Hope this helps. -----Original Message----- From: rob@xxxxxxxxx [mailto:rob@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, June 29, 2004 5:01 PM To: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion Subject: Re: CAE and iSeries release We got a lot of 'license management errors' on some of our PC's when using older versions of iSeries Access with a newer version of OS/400. Not everyone though. Couldn't figure out the 'trigger'. Just updated the squeaky wheels first. In a month we are upgrading the AS/400 to V5R2. Will 5250 connections still work with the older CAE software or do we have to upgrade that right away as well?
