John, Thanks for the reply. I normally do the CUM/Hiper/Group thing as well. But since I was here anyway, I just did the load ptf package and choose the IPL option. I was just hoping to avoid a 25 mile trip to work this weekend. Also I have the cum loaded in an image catalog. That's pretty sweet. Now that I'm thinking about it. I guess I do all of this stuff in multiple CL programs programmatically changing the Autostart job enter in a JOBD for the next IPL. Hmmm. I'll have to rethink this. Thanks, Mark Mark D. Now, as to loading HIPERs, the CUM, and groups all at once vs. individually, opinions will vary. But unless the IBM doc states otherwise, I've never had an issue with loading everything at once. I typically do the CUM first, then HIPERs, then all of the groups (in whatever order the pile of CDs winds up in). Once everything is loaded I'll schedule the IPL to do the apply.
