Rob, I don't use outlook at all. But I use mozilla, mozilla thunderbird and good old netscape 7.1. I sometimes use Pegasus and I tried other mail-clients. At customer sites I have to use Notes R5 or even R6 clients as well. All have some method of recognizing an address you already used before. I like the way of mozilla best: while typing in the "TO:" field it searches already for the best fit in your adress book(s) and gives you a list of choices. This is fast.

I did this when I discovered how badly reply to's was mangling the archives.
