First I've heard of that with a ptf. Now, there was a well documented
upgrade years ago in which the 'Wireless' product was dropped upon
upgrading to a certain release of OS. That involved upgrading a lot of
hardware on our part.

Cume causes purchase or hardware was: CL Variable being changed by

>From what I'm told, the cume package caused the software that controlled
our
Symbol brand scanners to cease communicating with the iSeries.
Interestingly, the Teklogix (spelling?) continued to function properly. We
had to purchase new controllers and software and convert from SNA to IP
based communication with the scanners. This apparently ran into an amount
of money approaching the purchase price of a nice car.

Chances are this potential problem was documented somewhere in the cover
letters for the cume but I didn't ask whether anyone read it.
