I guess it all depends on the search data and the search engine being used. But this is what I was looking for Thanks -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Vern Hamberg Sent: Wednesday, May 26, 2004 8:16 AM To: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion Subject: Re: Printer Font List John, I think I got lucky. (How sad is that?) Went to www.hp.com, went to Printers, then B&W laser printers, and finally did a search on "internal typeface". One result was an article " Printing the PCL Typeface (Internal Font) List and Changing the Default Font" at <http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=bpl0 3483&prodTypeId=18972&prodSeriesId=25476&locale=en_US> You might need to cut/paste the URL to get it all. The 6L has no way to print the list, it says, so the list is given there. There are other articles, comparing models, comparing versions of PCL, etc. HTH Vern At 06:49 AM 5/26/2004, you wrote: >Is there a web site where I can get a list of internal fonts for various HP >and IBM printer models? > >I have looked through the IBM and HP web sites without any luck. > >I am most interested in the HP 6L, 4000, 4050 and 4100 > >Thanks > >John > >jallen@xxxxxxxxxxx _______________________________________________ This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
