With the current version of OS/400 you can restrict which fields users may 
update/view on a physical file directly.  However that might not play well 
with rpg native access versus accessing from SQL.  In sql you can select 
only certain fields, thus not selecting ones you don't have access to.

Suppose they'll update RPG to allow you to select only certain fields on 
CHAIN, READ, UPDATE and WRITE?
