Dear Art,

The PJL commands being printed by the IBM 6400 are
used with laser printers and with some inkjet printers
to define the hardware configuration for a print job
and to provide feedback during a print job. The
commands are not supported by the IBM 6400 models with
IBM PPDS/Proprinter and Epson FX emulations.

The customer would need to see whether the model of
I-O Print Server they are using has an IBM Proprinter
or Epson FX print driver selection within it to make
the print server and printer compatible with each
other.

HTH

Best Regards,

/Paul
