Dear Art, The PJL commands being printed by the IBM 6400 are used with laser printers and with some inkjet printers to define the hardware configuration for a print job and to provide feedback during a print job. The commands are not supported by the IBM 6400 models with IBM PPDS/Proprinter and Epson FX emulations. The customer would need to see whether the model of I-O Print Server they are using has an IBM Proprinter or Epson FX print driver selection within it to make the print server and printer compatible with each other.
