As mentioned, the iSeries itself can be a mail server. However, I don't understand your situation. Do you have an in house mail server, or does your ISP host your mail? If you have your own mail server in house, it's not a big deal to configure the iSeries to send the mail there without going out to your ISP. If your ISP hosts your mail server then obviously if you want to receive mail there it's goto go there. If your ISP hosts your mail, you could configure the iSeries itself as in internal mail server. But that would mean every use would have to have two mailboxes set up; one internally on the iSeries and one externally on the ISP mail server.
