http://www.ibm.com/isource/cgi-bin/goto?it=usa_annred&on=104-160 OK. Now I've read the official IBM announcement about eServer i5 and i5/OS, so now I can express my disappointment that we just went through the exercise of renaming things and re-educating everybody to "eServer iSeries" for absolutely no reason. No use fighting it. It's done. I wish I could get back the time and effort I wasted promoting that last name change internally. This immediately caught my eye in the announcement: The new POWER5 processor-based i5 servers and i5/OS V5R3 deliver: * Ability to run i5/OS, Windows, Linux, and AIX 5L application Guess we don't need to run those pesky OS/400 applications anymore. I'm sure it's best that way. That stuff was obsolete anyway and best forgotten. Didn't Einstein define insanity as doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results? -Marty
