I don't know a way to do that. There might be one, but I've never heard it.

That prompt is not going to pop up in the middle of your 5250 session.

If you can't get them to set up a special user/pwd to match the iSeries, you
might have to turn the whole scenario around and  use iSeries Netserver as
SMB server. Then you would need to automate the drive mapping of the
Netserver share on the Windows machine, tell your Windows application to
look for its files there (in the iSeries share) and have your iSeries
application drop the files there (in the local file system, from iSeries
perspective).

I am hoping that the "mapped drive" concept is implemented where I can pass
a
userid/pw combo if in batch or be prompted in interactive.  But maybe not.
