Symbol Hand held scanner

HI We have a new application added that requires the pickers to use the scroll 
key. Problem is, the scroll key doesn't work once you have signed on to the 
AS/400. It does work on the Sign-on screen. Does someone know what needs to be 
changed or set to make it work?
