  ALCOBJ
  Do While ALCOBJ fails
    Use an API to list the locks
    For every lock
      Cancel the job
    End for every lock
  End for ALCOBJ
End for every object
We actually do this in our nightly backup.

File-Record locks






The save that is done nightly is sometimes incomplete because a record or 
file was locked at the save time. The save is run in batch. I would like 
to be able to have a program sweep through and cancel? Otherwise I have a 
junky backup.
