Connecting SPCN on a Model 500

I connecting the cables on a two-frame 9406-500, but I'm having issues 
with the SPCN cable.  Which J## ports should this be connected to?  I had 
to on J15 on both frame 1 & 2, and frame 2 wouldn't even power on.  If I 
use J11 on both frames, they power on but I get SRCs 1011A300 and 
1021A300. 

This machine is on V4R5, btw.  One of these days I may load V5R1 on it on 
a dare, or if I'm bored. :)
