Analyzing printer througput and usage

Hi,

we print about 20.000+ delivery notes per day on about 40 laser printers. The 
spoolfiles
are distributed automatically (by the application) to the different printers, 
but only after
fixed organisational rules.

So I am thinking about doing an anlysis of printer usage/throughput on an 
hourly basis
to find potentional bottlenecks. 

Has anybody done something similar or knows a tool?

I'm thinking about a matrix like

                 PRT01    PRT02    PRT03
10:00am     100/50    200/125   50/20  
10:15am      130/20   250/300   70/0      
10:03am

Where the first number (100) is the printed pages and the (50) is the new pages.
