For an HA solution today, you would want to use remote journaling which is likely to be a little more. IBM tells me that with the new high speed IOPs, you do not need a separate ASP for journaling for "most customers" Al Al Barsa, Jr. Barsa Consulting Group, LLC 400>390 914-251-1234 914-251-9406 fax http://www.barsaconsulting.com http://www.taatool.com Lyle.Hart@gtservi cing.com Sent by: To midrange-l-bounce midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx s@xxxxxxxxxxxx cc Subject 04/13/2004 05:21 HA overhead PM Please respond to Midrange Systems Technical Discussion <midrange-l@midra nge.com> Any ideas what the overhead would be running one of the major HA solutions?
