Well, everything worked. Our 40S is now back up, with 2 pair of 6606s and a pair of 6607s. It's now got 1/3 more capacity than it had, and we're down to 5 spare 6607s And our hard drive graveyard is now up to 5 bad drives and one that was giving an "impending failure" warning. There was a "gotcha," in that the 6607s initially gave I/O errors, and claimed to be "read and write protected," but digging through the DST menus until I found "initialize and format" solved that problem. Funny how our D02 has never blown a drive. -- JHHL
