The only time I use the dial up versus my cable VPN is when I change my windows password at work instead of at home. Then I have a bear of a time connecting via cable. Hopefully since they reloaded my home PC, put XP on there instead of W2K, and changed my method of signon I won't have this issue anymore. RIP. We have a VPN whereby we can dial in and get a sign on screen remotely over the internet using Mochasoft or Client Access (oops, I mean iSeries Access). My question is: Is there still value in being able to dial in directly bypassing the internet? I.E. if you ain't calling in over the public internet, you can't be sniffed. Do some of you still do that? I ass-u-me that with a Cisco PIX and router it could be done here. The phone extensions are still available. Thanks. -- Jeff Crosby Dilgard Frozen Foods, Inc. P.O.
