I've opened two pmr's; one with the iSeries team and one with the Domino 
for iSeries team.  Asking if it is kosher to clear the directory /tmp 
after you bring the system down to restricted state.  Neither team would 
commit to okaying it.  They could name a few specifics that would be ill 
if the system wasn't in a restricted state but none that would be if the 
system were in a restricted state.  Still they cautioned against it.  I 
take it that clearing this out must be really popular with some of you out 
there.  Because IBM is going to great efforts to thwart people from doing 
this.  And I really wish I could discuss this more as to how they are 
doing this, but I can't.

Oh, and by the way, how tricky would it be to modify Dave Leland's 
SNDEMAIL to stop using the /tmp directory?
