You ought to see the occasions that I get MCH errors when the RARE times I use SEU. Actually a few people on the list have toured us. Normally hosted by my boss. Things are rather unique here. You have no problems with things like Ops Console that leave most people tearing their hair out, but things that most people find solid as a rock and simple as a light switch, like a 5250 terminal, you've had major problems with. You must truly live (or at least work) in bizarro-world. I would love to visit some time! Do they call your box an iServer eSeries, by any chance??? ;-) -Marty ------------------------------ date: Tue, 16 Mar 2004 11:20:12 -0500 from: rob@xxxxxxxxx subject: RE: break messages locking session up - a survey My point is to keep trying because if 1,000+ users at our shop aren't having this problem, then somewhere, somehow there is a solution. It would be nice if I could correctly say service pack this or group ptf that, and I wish I could. Perhaps my participation in the survey will help. Heck, it might even be some strange router or switch setting for all I know. I do know that when we had dumb terminals they were going down like a wh*re on a troop ship. And if I cared about them at all, then perhaps others success stories would sway me to keep trying.
