Hey Art: How many partners are they using with the supertrac connects? Which protocols? If the customer has Premenos, most if not all of the comm modules are probably in Premenos. Call me off line if you'd like to discuss. cjg Carl J. Marty: Thanks for the reply. They are only using the connection part of the product. A number of years ago they moved to Premenos translator, but we still send the translated files using the G7X0 libraries. We USED to use the S5X0 libraries, when we were using a PC translator (yuck) I hope we can get someone to sell us Comm Module :-) Art Tostaine, Jr. CCA, Inc. Art, In the old days, SuperTracs/400 was actually the communications subsystem from Gentran/400 so you could probably get the functionality you need by buying a current copy of Gentran. I will probably get fired for saying this, but because today feels like that would be a blessing, Sterling also sells a product called Communications Module for AS/400. Comm Module is the more recent incarnation of the old SuperTracs/400 product. That would relieve your customers from having to buy a full-blown EDI product if all they really need is the communications part. _______________________________________________ This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
