One caution: if you lose your connection after using the TFRJOB command, you won't be able to sign back on because your workstation does not have a workstation entry in QCTL. You can use the ADDWSE command to add your specific worksation name to subsystem QCTL. If you're using generic or workstation type entries in QINTER, the workstation specified with a full name will always be allocated to QCTL.

Is this possible....

I would like to sign into our iseries this weekend, via tcp/ip...

But, I'm doing an application upgrade, and I would like to disable QINTER,
so nobody can be logged on, while doing this... However, my Session would
then be disabled... Any ideas, on how to force my Session to a different
subsystem, or any other ideas, to accomplish this situation..

Thanks, Tim
