Very true Rob. GUI applications have their place in the busines= s world and so does colored text (red, green, yellow, etc.) displays a= s well. Some operations are enhanced by graphical representations and some = are muddied by them. For heads down data entry,= good old "green screen" is marvelous...especially running under the great = stability of os400. For statistical analysis, GUI is probably a better= percentage option to view your data in the most readable and informat= ive manner. You can make a case for each within= many different sectors of business and choosing the right answer depends n= ot on ego, nor on technical craving but rather what is best for the si= tuation at hand. That being said, I tried the DS= 4 size on the DDS and boy that is one tough point size to read!!!!!!!! = ; -----midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx wrote= : ----- To: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion <midrang= e-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> From: rob@xxxxxxxxx Sent by: midrange-l-bounces@= midrange.com Date: 02/25/2004 01:58PM Subject: Re: 24 x 80 is too sma= ll.
