Re: Tape compression, and, 3581 vs 3590

I just remembered.  When you do DTACPR(*DEV) that is the default for the 
command.  Therefore, we are basically doing the same compression on the 
SAV that we are doing on the SAVLIB.  Yet, I wonder why the SAVLIB writes 
twice the number of bytes to tape?
