Re: IFS production data issue - help

If there's any chance of NULLs in the data, use fwrite() instead? Or go to the UNIX-type APIs and use the IFS functions there, which include the write() function - would need to change the open() functions, as well, probably.

A couple of records in the file are overlaying the previous record. It kind of looks like a null terminator was encountered during the write in the wrong place. I can't debug on the production system but have copied the records in error along with the records immediately before and after to our development system and the program works fine.

I'm stumped. Does anyone with more IFS experience have any ideas? I'm using the _C_IFS_fputs function for the write.
