Nope. Just the quickie description of the PTF. As with anything else, 
there's a certain amount of trust assumed here. The guys in Rochester 
don't publish a PTF until the original filer of the problem has had a 
chance to thoroughly test the fix. I don't know if you've been one of 
those "problem finders", but I have, and I know others on this list have 
had the pleasure. Ya shoulda been around during the months prior to the 
announcement of the 400. Us beat testers used to get PTF tapes in the mail 
every couple of days.

Look at the weekly cover letter(SF98520 or SF98510 or so on).

The PTF's in the HIPER groups are published all the time. The group itself
is assembled on Tuesdays as a rule. I've never had a problem with these in
the last 3 years or so. I had a defective PTF at that time that I had to
remove, but apart from that, no problems.

IBM is telling us we need to load the current HIPER group, as part of our
MQ support.

I am a little worried about loading all the hipers.

I would like to see what others think about loading hipers that are less
then a week old.
