Unexpected CPC2678 messages -- MIDRANGE-L

Hello,

we are getting the message CPC2678 "Vary on at IPL" at unexpected times - 
i.e. IPL is on sunday morning 8am and we get this 
message at 6:00am monday morning - with lots of vary on messages just 
before that.

These vary on messages go for a bunch of unconnected (old) devices, where 
most don't even exist anymore. 

So, the question is, why does this happen on monday morning (and not just 
after the sunday ipl)?
