Hm, interesting.

Question: did the user profile you were running the RST command with have a
home directory?  IIRC, user profiles always have a default directory
assigned "/home/usrprf/" but did the directory exist?

If not, then the user's current directory was /root.  So you told it to
restore everything in the root of the IFS.
