I am also using hpt for *afpds and hp4100n's. Performance is ok.
I reserved 16meg in the QSPL subsystem description (3 of these printers
running all the time).
If you are using performance auto adjust, adjuster takes too long to react
to printing subsystem
and needs the reserve.
Also changed the sleep options on the printer to not so quickly go into
sleep mode.
Also added a little more memory to each printer (cheap).
