You been able to do 3270 pass through since 1988 on the 400.

It goes even further back to the S/36 and I "think" the S/34.
It ain't no big thing.... and works every time.

One of my friends is looking to move from a 3270 sna printer/terminal
emulation environment to a
3270e environment (TCP/IP) for printer and terminal emulation for connecting
AS/400 sessions to a mainframe.

The software will need to be installed to run on the AS/400 and be able to
connect to printer and terminal
sessions on ADP mainframes. I know you can run TN3270E stuff on PC's with
emulation. Last time I checked,
the AS/400 did not have tn3270e native support. I there a proven solution
for this?
