Ted,

We have had decent results with VirusScan 7.0. In fact, I ordered an
"emergency" scan be done on all of our boxes earlier today. It's all in
setting it up properly to scan your IFS. Also, we're banging McAfee up
against Bytware and right now don't see that Bytware is "oh so much
better" than VirusScan 7.0 on a V5R2 box.

Contact me offline if you want to talk in more detailed terms.

subject: Scanning the iSeries (IFS) for Viruses

Just curious, in light of the recent 'mydoom' virus, has anyone ever
tried this? If so, what have you used or recommend.

I'm currently using the latest McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 7.0.0 to scan
the IFS. Is this safe or should I be worried?
