Per IBM (if ya can believe em) mine should be capacity of 2.6 GB and from looking at them thru system that appears to be correct. Not sure on WORM or rewrite. We use it to archive spool files and rarely delete from tham so thinking WORM?

It's been a while since I've dealt with a 3995 but what kind of platters are you looking for? There are WORM and re-writable and I think there are some different sizes.....if what you need is a 5.2GB double sided cartridge with a part number of 59H4786 I know where you can get some.....

Anybody know of a source for getting more optical platters for the above machine. IBM rep and IBM Direct no help at all. Rep had no idea and IBM Direct got a lady who barely spoke English, not sure if what she quoted me was even what I need!!!
