I have a user trying to access a file on our AS400 thru Microsoft
.NET When connecting they enter the name of an ODBC DSN, and select
the connection type as OLE DB provider for ODBC drivers. All the
tables from this library the ODBC goes over show up. However when she
goes to select the file and drag it onto the form the following error
message appears: You cannot use an OLE DB provider for ODBC drivers.
Which confused me since this is a valid selection. We tried
downloading the ODBC .Net driver however we cannot get that to show as a
valid driver name in the ODBC administration. We have *ddm running on
our server.

Has anyone connected to the as/400 thru .Net? Can you steer me in the
right direction

Thanks!!!
