RE: Terminating an idle batch job

This may be a fairly obvious and therefore, completely idiotic answer but,
if the jobs have a MSGW status that usually means that there was an error or
it is waiting for a specific operator response.  Why not just use the
command DSPMSG QSYSOPR and answer them?

I also vaguely remember some way to automatically answer some messages but
that could go back years....
