3995 C40 Optical

We are having some sporadic performance issues with our optical library and
I THINK it may be space related (see below).
 
I thought the last time I had the box open (can't do it right now) I only
saw 6 platters loaded out of 10 available.  From below it looks like 10
volumes (is that 10 platters?) are loaded in 5 slots (is that correct).  How
do I find out for sure?
