Re: Cannot RCVMSG a SQL0204 *DIAG message

David,

I was able to do this with a simple SQLRPGLE program, called by a CL. And, 
like you, I was unable to do some manipulation with RCVMSG *same, *ext, 
etc to get it to work.  Any chance of dropping the CL and doing the 
processing within the RPG?  Thus you should be able to use SQLSTATE, etc 
to properly handle this condition.  If that is not likely, then perhaps 
you could modify the RPG to use the message handling api's to send a 
message that RCVMSG could handle.
