New UPS

We've been using an Emerson AP175 10kva UPS since 1986 (!).  It's time for a
PM and the batteries need replaced.  The technicion strongly suggested
replacing the unit because they (Liebert) cannot get parts anymore, so if
something like a switch goes bad, we're SOL.

We've been real pleased with Emerson, but I know a lot of people use Best.
We don't need a 10kva unit either, 5-6 would probably be enough.  Any
recommendations?

PS, I assume that any with a DB9 output connector will attach to the iSeries
and keep it posted just like the Emerson unit did, right?
