What do you see when you use the WRKLNK command? It sounds like your Net
server definition may have gotten scrambled. In i-Nav, when you drill down
= from network to servers to tcp/ip, check the status of your netserver
and r= edefine it if necessary. Also, can you drill down thru the file
systems? Do= you still see the file shares you're expecting? Once you have
that stuff e= stablished, you should be able to "find" the netserver in
windows= , either by name or by IP address.

Subject: Unable to access IFS after DASD failure</F= ONT>

Details here are a= little sketchy, and I apologize: one of my customers
   had
a disk failure= and I believe the box was RAID'ed. When the drive was
replaced, w= e discovered damage on our orders file (the largest object in
   the
system= ) and have repaired that.

We're unable to access the IFS for either Operations Navigator or Win dows
Explorer. We can create a new folder in QDLS but get an &quot= ;invalid
   function"
message when we try to access existing folders o= r documents.

I've su= ggested doing RCLSTG. Is there any funky command to clean up the
IFS<= BR>or are we looking at a reload of OS/400?

   Thanks,
   Reeve
