Displaying error messages in DDS Window.

I'm writing a ILE C application and would like to output all error messages to 
a DDS Window instead of using printf to output them to STDOUT.  I would like 
for the window to not require user input and just display for a set amount of 
time then go away. Does anyone know if this is possible?
