The size parameter for RTVOBJD is the size of the object, not the record
format. RTVMBRD does not return any size information, only number of
records. Sounds like it's time to use an API, such as Retrieve Database File
Description (QDBRTVFD), which has the record format size.

That would necessitate knowing which file and format is in the hidden field.
