William,

While I don't have raw numbers or anything, those kinds of numbers are misleading in any case.

The raw numbers tells how many messages are sent and/or received in a given timeframe. Questions then are: How big are the messages, and what kind of processing takes place on each message on each end. Both will affect the thru put involved. Especially the size with respect to the bandwitdth, and the processing will affect the delay between the send & response.

Just trying to help muddy the waters. <g>

Bill

Hi All,
Does anyone know of any performance numbers for MQSeries? Particularly, sending info off of the iSeries to an NT box and back? I'm looking for "raw" numbers so I can get a feel for the thruput available.
Also, does anyone have any tips as how to set it up for best performance? Or things NOT to do to prevent terrible performance?
Regards,
William
