I can heartily recommend Mozilla Firebird, then. Get the extension called Flash Click To View (http://texturizer.net/firebird/extensions/#flashclick); then, instead of flash animations running, you get a box saying, "Click to view animation". Not exactly what you asked for, but it might well fill your needs.
Mozilla Firebird (especially with extensions) rocks.
