Re: change management software

About 8 years ago my partner-in-crime evaluated Aldon and Soft Landing. The capabilities of both were similar and either would have met our needs. However, we decided on Aldon/CMS. I'm not sure of the reason (could have been price).

We've used it for our general CMS needs since then. We also used it during our Y2K Extravaganza-- we had parallel development of the Y2K project at the same time we maintained our production environment. ACMS allowed us to track changes to both, and keep the one task advised of changes to the other.

It handles distributions to multiple systems easily. It has user exits to allow customization if needed.
