Try using the command:
STRPCCMD PCCMD('C:\Progra~1\Intern~1\iexplore.exe http://www.denko.com')

I've used this and it works.  The DOS window that is open by the strpccmd
cannot process the long directory names and spaces.  Remember the old DOS
window in 95 it had the same problems.

I thought that maybe the STRPCCMD had a problem with the space.  That's 
why I created the shortcut in the root, but that didn't help either.
